Buying new car and tyre service equipment is always a big investment. Obviously, everyone would like to pay as little as possible. However, this is not always the best way. Saving money might be an idea but this should not be the only argument for choosing a certain equipment.
Most people start looking for car or tyre service equipment sort the listings by the price. They choose the cheapest ones, thinking that it makes no sense to pay top dollar for things that could be cheaper. Unfortunately, this is not always the best way. Obviously, paying low price is tempting but after some time it may turn out that you have to pay more for the maintenance. Also, there might be a need for regular service. And as it turns out, there are many companies that offer no spare parts for the equipment they sold.
What tyre changer and wheel balancer?
You can easily find sets of tyre service tools at low prices. So – better buy now? Well, before you set up for a certain item, take into consideration what could the seller give apart from the product itself
What is better – new equipment by budget company? Or used premium equipment? When you look at prices, they are similar. Would the quality be comparable, though? Let’s think about it.
Used “premium” – advantages
- premium badge
Yes, that’s it.
Used “premium” – disadvantages
- risk of damages
- high prices (when compared to age or condition)
- uncertainty about the real condition
New budget products
- new tool priced like pre-owned ones
- it is brand-new – never been used before
- you get service coverage
Budget products – disadvantages
- not necessarily “premium” badge
Would the disadvantages of new budget products be more important than the benefits? Well, in our own opinion – they would not. If you care about the badge – then yes. However, if you are looking for tools that are able to make money, then the budget ones are simply a better choice than the used ones. You can simply be sure that they are always able to work with.
What if the premium tool simply breaks down? Would the badge help you make any money? Well, no. Customers won’t come to you anyway. And you will spend money on repairing the tool.
Tyre and car service equipment
Price is important but it’s not everything. Before you choose a certain offer:
- check whether the seller offers spare parts
Why is that so important? Would cheap equipment break down quickly? Well , we don’t say that. However, the equipment is used in hard conditions, so sooner or later there might be a need for some spare parts.
So – be sure to sort equipment only from the sellers who provide spare parts as well. We got all spares for the REDATS equipment.
