Gebo Tools SRL is a trusted partner from Romania with whom REDATS started working in 2017. Gebo Tools, headquartered in Cluj-Napoca, Romania is a prominent distributor of REDATS tools and equipment. Focused on sourcing reliable, high-quality, and affordable products for the Romanian market, Gebo Tools has built a wide-reaching customer base through phone sales and e-commerce, becoming one of the biggest players in their segment in Romania. In 2021, the relationship became closer when we signed the first formal distribution agreement.
Challenge
The challenge was to find a strategic partner who:

Gebo Tools identified a gap in the Romanian market for competitively priced yet reliable workshop equipment. During their visit to REDATS, we shared logistics expertise, so Gebo Tools could scale without worrying about shipping, handling, and deliveries.

Gebo Tools were already very active in the marketing field. Here we provided marketing materials ready to be used for the Romanian market.
3. Sales training and sales materials
We offered core product knowledge in an easy-to-learn format, helping Gebo Tools train specialists in the automotive field, which boosted sales. Also, REDATS provided sales training for GEBO TOOLS specialists in their company.
4. Technical training and know-how

Our technical team trained employees from Gebo Tools about the most common issues with our machines. We could happily share our experience in that field which led to substantial quicker solving time of the complaints. We, as a producer of REDATS equipment, have knowledge of every bit of our machines and products. Our Romanian partner appreciates our warehouse with all spare parts needed for our machines and that they do not have to worry about warranty and after-warranty complaints and repairs.
